This first of its kind U.P. Labor Market Study, conducted by TIP Strategies, was made possible with support by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) along with a matching grant from the U.S. EDA and a collaborative effort of U.P. economic developers, including InvestUP, the three U.P. planning regions, Upper Peninsula Michigan Works!, and a variety of other stakeholders from the 15 counties across the U.P., who are designed by the State of Michigan as the Collaborative Development Council for Region 1 (the Upper Peninsula).
